Ultra Sexy Top Spin 4 Ad Featuring Serena Williams Was Just Too Hot For TV [VIDEO]

This ad has caused quite the reaction after being unofficially revealed earlier this week by the actress that was featured in the commercial with none other than tennis legend Serena Williams. The ad was to be a 60 second promo for the recently released Top Spin 4 but it looks like 2K Sports decided that in the end it was just a little too much for TV. Personally I think some of the negative reactions are a little much and trust me you have seen worse. I think it was an attempt to catch the attention of 2K’s primary market which is young men and it definitely does that.

In case you are wondering neither Serena Williams nor the actress in the ad with her Rileah Vanderbilt seem to be unhappy with the ad, the both seem rather proud out it. The ad shows off a match between “The World’s Sexiest Tennis Player” and “The World’s Sexiest Gamer” and shows them going head to head in an intense game of Top Spin for using Sony’s PlayStation  Move. There is lots of skin and some well dubbed audio that takes all those moans and noises that you might hear during a normal tennis match to create something quite interesting. From 2K Sports’ perspective they seem to be trying to distance themselves from the ad which they said the basic spill we would expect to hear in something like this.

“As part of the process for creating marketing campaigns to support our titles, we pursue a variety of creative avenues,” the company wrote in a statement. “This video is not part of the title’s final marketing campaign and its distribution was unauthorized.”

But that’s what they have to say right, bottom line is this will get more people talking about the game than would have otherwise and that is always a good thing. The ad seems to have went through full production, it’s not a rough cut so if they thought it was going to be too much it seems like they wouldn’t have had it get to finished production but that’s just my thoughts.
