Honestly, this should not come as a big surprise to any of us who take things for what they are, and not what they should or could be. The Apple iPad, and now the iPad 2, are still the most preferred tablets on the market. In this latest survey by ChangeWave, which was conducted in February, found that of the buyers planning to purchase a tablet, 82% will purchase an Apple iPad. That number is up about 2% since the last survey in November.
The results round out with the Motorola Xoom at 4 percent, the BlackBerry Playbook with 3 percent, the Samsung Galaxy Tab at 3 percent, and an Other Category with 8 percent. Could this be an indication that Apple is that far ahead? Or could it be the lack of other tablets in the market to see in action (friends, coworkers, etc.)? Either way, for now the iPad is reigns. What do you think about this?
