Bought An iPad In The Last Two Weeks, Apple Wants To Give You A Hundred Bucks Back

IpadFor all you folks out there that went ahead and bought an iPad in the last two weeks even though you knew that the iPad 2 was imminent we have so good news for you. According to reports by cNET, you just may qualify for a $100 refund. Apple is making this offer to any customers who purchased the iPad (any of the versions) within 14 days of the iPad 2 announcement, which if we count correctly would be the 16th of February though Apple has not confirmed the exact cutoff date. The refund will be applied to your credit or debit card.

Just as I predicted a few weeks ago, Apple has announced that they have dropped the price of the first generation iPad by $100 on each model, so a basic 16GB model is now going for $399, not bad for the second best tablet on the market. If you ordered online then you need to call Apple customer service to process the refund. If you bought it in store then you simply need to bring your receipt back and you can get your money back. Well that was easy wasn’t it?
