So far we’ve heard about several changes that are possibly coming to iPads and iPhones. Honestly, I don’t think that any of those size changes will show themselves in the iPad 2 or the iPhone 5 – I may be wrong, but I doubt it. These changes, which may or may not happen, will likely happen pass the next generation Apple devices.
So what are those size change rumors again? For a couple of weeks now, we’ve been hearing that Apple is working on a smaller/cheaper iPhone, which would possibly be called the iPhone Nano. Early estimates from Wall Street Analysts already indicate that this could increase Apple’s revenue by 250% (The New York Times goes against the smaller iPhone, but instead a cheaper iPhone). In addition to the Nano iPhone, there are rumors about a 4-Inch screen iPhone. Some of us are for it, others not so much – just hard to figure out what to believe. Finally there is the 7-inch screen iPad, which rumors place a launch date around Fall 2011. This is the hardest to imagine considering Steve Jobs stated that smaller tablets were dead on arrival.
The only sure thing is that if they are coming to the market, they eventually will. Will you want a smaller iPhone? Will you want a 4-inch screen iPhone? What about a smaller iPad? Surely we won’t have to make those many choices (at least not at the same time). So the bigger question for you will be, Which Do I prefer? So……..
