PlayStation Move For PC’s, Meet The “Move Server” Project

Looks like nobody can keep a secret anymore. It now looks as if Sony has plans to bring its PlayStation Move controller to the PC. Yeah, interesting we know. The news comes via a description of a talk that Sony plans to give at this year’s GDC. According to the summary, John McCutchan, SCEA’s lead for Game Systems and Developer Support, will be there to talk about among other things the “Move Server” project that is supposed to make it possible for academics and hobbyists to develop software using the PlayStation Move controller on their own PCs. We really don’t know where Sony is going with this but the possibilities are rather interesting. If all the Kinect hacks are any indication, then I am sure we will be seeing some very cool mods here very soon. Anybody got any ideas?
