If this leaked document is accurate, the HTC Thunderbolt will be able to support voice and data over Verizon’s 3G network. Check out what’s stated about this in the document: “There is functionality in the Thunderbolt that allows simultaneous voice and data while on the VZW 3G network, however, we cannot promise the experience will be one that is consistent with our brand. As a result, do not reference this functionality as a benefit during your conversations with customers.”
Sounds good to me! Hopefully, this capability can be added to VZW upcoming devices. This would place a major dent into AT&T advertising strategy. Imagine if Verizon Wireless announced that the Verizon iPhone 4 is also capable of simultaneous voice and data. Maybe that want happen, but there is always the iPhone 5. Looks like AT&T needs a game changer. What do you think about this?
