That’s right folks, it looks like you will be able to get your hands on Motorola’s new XOOM tablet at Best Buy on February 17, 2011. It seems Engadget has gotten their hands on what appears to be internal Best Buy slides that clearly show the Feb. 17 launch date, with the tablets themselves arriving in stores only one day earlier. We already know that the XOOM is rumored to be dropping with a rather large $800 price tag (though that is still unconfirmed), but hey if you can afford it then it looks like a pretty good tablet. The document also seems to confirm that the XOOM will arrive with that delicious 32GB of onboard storage that it originally promised so that is a plus.
Is this finally the tablet that is going to be a worthy iPad competitor, the answer is on paper it looks good but until we can actually get our hands on it it will be hard to tell.
