Apple iPad 2 To Be Compatible On Verizon & AT&T, With A Built in SD Card Slot

IpadThe Apple iPad 2 rumors are really starting to heat up. Engadget has reported that the Apple iPad 2, which should be launching around the beginning of April, will be compatible with both GSM and CDMA radios. This means that both Verizon Wireless customers and AT&T’s will be able to enjoy service beyond WI-FI on their new iPads. This comes as a result of Apple’s switch from Infineon to Qualcomm, who is producing a dual GSM / CDMA chipset for the iPad 2. Maybe this will happen for the iPhone 5 as well. Additionally, while everyone knows about the cameras that will be on the iPad 2, there will also be a slot for a SD card (check out notch in the photo). So do you like these rumors so far? As more information becomes available, we’ll get it to you! Cheers
