Today in New York City at the Lincoln Center, Verizon Wireless finally made it official. The Verizon iPhone will come to the nation’s largest and most reliable network on February 10, 2011 for $199.99 for the 16 GB model and $299.99 for the 32 GB model. We’ve waited years for this announcement, and it’s finally here. I guess you can say that this is how Apple would do it – wait until after the CES Conference, have the stage to themselves, and deliver the biggest news since all Apple products with an “i” were released.
Analysts are already predicting how much of a success the VZW iPhone will actually be. Conversely, analysts are also predicting how this will impact AT&T as a whole. While no one predicts a mass exodus this year, some do think that this will affect AT&T in the long run.
Whatever will we write about now? So now that it’s official, who is going to stand in that long line once it’s launched to pick one up. Be sure to let us know what you think about this in our comments. For more information, check out the official press release below. Also, hit up the Verizon iPhone dedicated page link below as well.
