With the announcement of the Tomb Raider reboot, which has us very excited by the way, this isn’t a major surprise if it turns out to be true and its looks very likely that it is. On Amazon.de there is currently a listing (they hadn’t pulled it as of the writing of this article) for a Tomb Raider Trilogy that would be released on March 22nd and include Tomb Raider Legend, Tomb Raider Anniversary, and Tomb Raider Underworld. The first two that were originally PS2 releases will be remastered in stunning HD for your viewing pleasure. Each game will also feature full PSN trophy support. In addition, the collection will unlock special male and female avatars for use in PlayStation Home.
With this said, Square has yet to officially announce this collection, but normally these kinds of leaks pan out. With the new Tomb Raider supposed to be an origin story this seems like an appropriate way to close out the last chapter of Lara’s adventures.
