One of the showings at the VGAs this past Saturday was Forza Motorsport 4, a reveal that was both under the radar and a bit of a surprise come the end of the night. While footage of Forza 4 had been shown during the 2010 E3 with Kinect functionality, nothing had been said Saturday to either confirm or deny that it would still be implemented.
Today, Turn 10 Studios sent out a press release confirming that the Kinect will be a part of the gameplay, and that it would have a little tag-along as well. With the inception of BBC’s hit television show “Top Gear” here stateside and their own incarnation, the two companies have teamed up “to create an automotive experience unlike anything before.” What that officially means remains to be seen, but what can be assumed, is time trials, car contests and races based off the stunts preformed off the show.
To get an idea of what you may be in for, you can check out America’s “Top Gear” every Sunday at 10:00 PM/EST… or just watch the original. Either way you’re going to get what you paid for.
