By now you’ve gone through this bracket, and probably thought this was a joke. Well, it’s not. Over at LaptopMag in a bracket style competition, the Tablet World Series as it’s called; the BlackBerry Playbook has been anointed as the champion of Tablets so far, not the Apple iPad.

This competition, which was based off votes, featured several announced tablets. On one side you had the 10-inchers, and on the other the 7-inchers. The 10-inch tablets included the: the Apple iPad, Exo PC Slate, Viewsonic G-Tablet, and the Archos 101. The 7-inch tablets included the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Cisco Cius, RIM’s Playbook, and the Stream Elocity A7.

Maybe the most surprising piece of the story is the Apple iPad’s early exit! Is this a true indication of the other tablets presumed dominance? We want to hear from you! Let us know what you think of this bracket. Maybe you’ll agree, maybe you won’t.
