Atari Classics Launch On PlayStation Network For PlayStation 3 And PSP

Atari Europe today announced the launch of Atari PlayStation classics for the PlayStation 3 and PSP on the PlayStation Network. The launch of Atari Classics has now begun with the launch of PONG, Missile Command and Centipede and over the coming weeks will include must-have iconic PlayStation blockbusters.

PONG is one the most classic games of all time

“Many players first gaming experience would have been with one of Atari’s classic franchises” said John Burns, Vice President and General Manager for Atari Europe, “With a fantastic back catalogue of addictive classics, we look forward to releasing some of the most popular Atari arcade titles of all time to both nostalgic gamers and to a whole new generation of PlayStation 3 and PSP players”.

The treasure from the vault of timeless classics launching on the PlayStation Network will continue regularly with new releases of the most addictive PlayStation games of all-time from Atari’s legendary vault.
