With T-Mobile’s latest announcement on its coverage area for HSPA+, it appears that the 4G landscape is proving to be a competitive space that could possibly land an additional customer or two on a different carrier. But is this the case for you? Verizon Wireless and AT&T have already shown their LTE initiatives. Sprint, on the other hand, was able to launch its 4G coverage first with Clearwire’s WiMAX. Even though T-Mobile is claiming their HSPA+ network as 4G, it has also backed LTE.
So more questions – Does any of these new 4G networks matter to you? Will you switch carriers to get 4G coverage earlier? Remember, 3G coverage was a huge marketing niche for carriers; largest coverage area, fastest network, most reliable, etc. So tell us what you think! Does it matter?
