Namco Bandai just announced that SPLATTERHOUSE is ready to be published. That means you can expect the game to be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 23, 2010 for only $59.99. SPLATTERHOUSE is based on a 1988 arcade hit. It combines combat with gore to deliver a unique experience. Metal fans should keep an eye out for this one as its soundtrack features many of today’s top performers. Included in the game is the original SPLATTERHOUSE trilogy so that means more bang for your buck.
SPLATTERHOUSE follows the story of Rick Taylor as he sets out to rescue his girlfriend Jennifer. The game is packed with gore and soon Rick is transformed into a raging juggernaut that decimates anything in his way. The game gives players countless ways to destroy their enemies with extreme violence. As Rick you will be able to use Necrotic energy powered attacks and go into all out Berserker Mode. Rick will be able to use an arsenal of classic SPLATTERHOUSE weapons to take down his enemies in gruesome fashion. The game also features Splatter Kills which allow you to rip, impale, and smash your opponents into pulp. If that is not value, I do not know what is.
