Stephen Elop, Nokia’s CEO, announced on the Q3 earnings call that the company’s “first MeeGo device will be a 2011 event.” For those who were anticipating a 2010 release, let’s hope for an early 2011 release. With so much new and resurging competition in the market, and an undoubtedly push into the high-end side from the likes of Android and Apple, we’re hoping for a strong showing of Nokia’s latest OS when the device is released. As consumers, we have to love it!
