U-verse Mobile Arrives On Android Devices And BlackBerry Curve 3G

For those of you with certain Android phones or the BlackBerry Curve 3G and who use AT&T’s U-verse Mobile, you can now watch your IP-based TV on the go. So, if you have one of the supported Android devices or the BlackBerry Curve 3G, U-verse Mobile, and a wifi connection, get to watching!

U-verse TV is completely IP- (Internet Protocol) based which makes it act just like any other video you’d stream over the web.  There are advantages to using a network as wide as the Internet to stream your content to subscribers.

That said, for those of you who subscribe to the service and own one of the following: Samsung Captivate, HTC Aria, or a BlackBerry Curve 3G – you’re now able to watch your U-verse TV on your device, as long as you have one of the U300 or higher plans (and are on a wifi connection).  The app will soon be available on the Motorola BRAVO and FLIPSIDE, as well.

To find out if the U-verse Mobile service is available in your area and for more information in general, head on over to AT&T’s U-verse site.
