Following months of positive reception on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, UTV Ignition Entertainment today announced Blacklight: Tango Down will be available for download on the PlayStation Network (PSN) on October 26, 2010.  After generating more than a million downloads this summer and topping the charts as one of the season’s most popular XBLA titles, Blacklight: Tango Down will launch on PSN fully updated, and with brand-new PSN-exclusive content for just $15.

Blacklight: Tango Down has been praised due to a combination of fun gameplay and a cheap price tag

Included in these features will be the addition of a Join-in-Progress option, which allows players to team up with their friends and enter matches without having to wait for an intermission. Rewarding players who have been patiently waiting for the PSN launch, the game offers the same non-stop fun and an exhilarating experience that the previous versions delivered including numerous multiplayer maps, seven game types, four co-op missions and many different weapon combinations. More details on the PSN exclusive content will be announced shortly.

“Fans flocked to Blacklight over the summer because the game offered the most extensive array of gameplay and features ever brought to the DLG venue – for just 15 bucks,” said Jared Gerritzen, Lead Designer at Zombie Studios. “Now with full updates, brand-new content and the ability to Join in Progress, PSN players will truly see the game at its best.”

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
