EA knows games and Microsoft knows a thing or two about operating systems. With the shiny new Windows Phone 7 OS & devices coming out, it just makes sense for EA’s mobile division to publish games for the platform.
What’s neat about these and, in theory, most Windows Phone 7-compatible games is that they will be Xbox LIVE-enabled. So, engaging your friends in multiplayer games, unlocking achievements, and adding to your Gamerscore should all be possible on the new mobile OS.
The titles that EA announced as forthcoming are: Need for Speed Undercover, Tetris, The Sims 3, and Monopoly. Not a bad lineup. For more info on EA Mobile, head over to their site. Likewise, for more info on the game side of Windows Phone 7, check out their site here.
