Deep Silver is doing the obvious. And what should be followed. It is dropping the regular pricing standards. And it is releasing Nail’d at $49.99. This is a move that should be imitated. Games are overpriced, plain and simple. Along with this move, Deep Silver is doing something else worthy of note. It is “getting back to the roots of what makes racing games fun”. This should be obvious. I have seen too many games that have forgotten the roots of what makes their games fun. We need to trim the fat. And be we, I mean society.
This game focuses on speed, enormous jumps and insane tracks. Even gamers who aren’t fans of the racing genre love this game. It has that indefinable magic that keeps people coming back for more. And, with the low price of $49.99 it is practically a steal. And a great source of value.
The tracks are inspired by nature. But nature goes out of the window with the kind of intensity that this game is bringing. In Nail’d, arcade racing goes bigger, faster, higher, and longer than it has before in any other game ever. Nail’d will ship to North American stores on November 30, 2010. So remember to get Nail’d this holiday season.
