As further delays come in, a big one that was a mere month away and was supposed to be one of the bigger MMO arrivals to ever hit consoles has been delayed. DC Universe Online, the upcoming MMO from SoE, has now been given an extra three months, to sit and contemplate in their Fortress of Solitude on the things that fans have already said as well as input that will be gathered from the upcoming Beta. So as much as the delay will sting, there is some light in this lantern.
“As the game heads into external beta testing, this extra time will allow us to address community feedback in a meaningful way,” SOE president John Smedley said. The good news that people who did pre-order before the 15th of November, can take part of the Beta and give their input to help the game. The other, lesser beings that didn’t get there in time will have to wait for the week before, but still get to take part in the “Battle of the Legends” event at the end of the Beta.
