I’m not personally familiar with Medal of Honor nor its other cousins but I’m assuming you’re gonna want some nice, quasi-epic music to accompany it, much as with Halo, etc. I mean, it’s war, right? Well, Electronic Arts has just announced that they’ve signed on Ramin Djawadi to compose the score for the upcoming Medal of Honor.
Ramin’s name might not have reached household status but his work speaks for itself. Having worked on the music for Iron Man, “Prison Break,” and Clash of the Titans, he stands to bring some moving notes to the Medal of Honor party.Djawadi was quoted as saying, “Designing a score that captures both the scalpel-like quiet professionalism of the Tier 1 Operators and the sledge hammer action of big military has been a unique challenge.
The music is designed to dynamically ebb and flow, complementing the big action sequences with thundering electric guitar and bass, and the quiet stealth with haunting strings and hymns. It is like a Hollywood action movie score on steroids.”
Sounds like it might be worth a listen, even if you don’t like the games.
