Southpeak has announced that it is delaying Reality Pump’s RPG Two Worlds II until January 2011 in North America, the game had previously been scheduled for an October release. I tell you guys what, NBA Elite 11 and now Two Worlds II both delayed, I guarantee you that this is only the start of the delays we are about to see coming up over the next few months.
Southpeak noted that while they are sure that fans are upset about the delay they felt it was necessary to deliver a quality product. As far as we understand, this only affects the North American release date and exactly why that is we are not yet sure. In closing out their announcement Southpeak, the game’s publisher, had a few words for those folks who are thinking of either torrenting or importing the game. They noted that while there is nothing they can do to stop you, they would encourage North American buyers to just remain patient. They made good points about the fact that it would actually be counter intuitive for folks who were really looking forward to the game because they would end up paying more for the game that may be of lower quality, not to mention the possible reduction in sales that could negatively impact the odds for another game in the future.
Well that’s it folks, looks like us folks in North America will just have to wait a few months though they will have a further update for the UK, Australia and New Zealand in the near future.
