On September 2nd, Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab, the first of the company’s tablet devices, and the world’s first DivX Certified tablet. Apple, meanwhile, has seen their tablet, the iPad, reach unimaginable sales and become immensely popular. So which is better? For now, we can only use specs as a basis. The Samsung Galaxy Tab has not yet been released, but a release or announcement on that should come pretty soon (perhaps Sept. 16th). Some of the major differences are:
- Camera (Rear and Front)
- Storage (Internal and Expandable)
- Adobe Flash
- Battery Life
- Price (As far as pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is rumored to be around $200 to $300 on at least three carriers in the U.S. )
For a complete side by side comparison, take a look at the chart from PC World.
So after looking at the Tale of the Tape, what do you think? Will the Samsung Galaxy Tab dethrone the iPad? Regardless to if you’ve purchased an iPad or not, which device in your honest opinion is better from what we know? Hit up our comments and let us know.
