The new Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has arrived at stores throughout North America. Sounding something like a Star Trek episode where the veil between realities thin, it stands to actually be a fascinating game. I’m not heavily into the comic world but I want to play this since, fresh storyline and a unique way of combining different Spiderman characters & realms sounds like a good game to me.
A fresh storyline and a unique way of combining different Spiderman characters & realms sounds like a good game to me.You’ll play as four different characters in their own separate worlds throughout the game. These four different worlds apparently offer a wide variety of settings and art styles to keep you interested and the gameplay captivating. Each character will also have his own gameplay style in addition to the different settings you’ll traipse and swing through.
Shattered Dimensions’ story was created by well-known Marvel comic book writer Dan Slott. You’ll play as the Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate incarnations of our favorite web-slinger. As those characters, you’ll battle the likes of Kraven, Vulture, Carnage, Deadpool, Mysterio, and more. Additionally, each of the Spider-Man characters in the game is voiced by actors who have all loaned their vocal talents to Spider-Man in the past. Spider-Man’s co-creator and a comic book legend Stan Lee will even be guiding you through the game as the narrator.
All-in-all, it sounds interesting and – if Activison did their job – will hopefully be a welcome addition to the comic-based video game realm.
