Windows Phone 7 Reaches RTM, Rumored Holiday Release On Target

Share And Comment

According to multiple reports, Windows Phone 7 has been released to manufacturing (RTM). Normally, when a Microsoft product goes RTM, that pretty much means that the product is in the final steps of integration and testing with their partners. If their rumored holiday 2010 availability target holds true, then everything is on track for a possible  release of the device in late September or October.

Microsoft has really put a lot of work into making Windows Phone 7 much better than its outdated Windows Mobile platform. Are the changes that Microsoft is making to their mobile platform enough for you to give them a shot at running your mobile device or will you stick to the one of the current “faves” from Apple, RIM, and Google?
