I have never heard of Castle Crashers before, but it has my support. The reason for this is simple: there is a free demo out for it, and you can download it now. I support this because it gives me a chance to try before I buy. Also, it lets me know that Castle Crashers is confident enough in itself to give me a taste before I get hungry.
Dropping onto the XBL back in 2008, these four little knights of 2D destruction were the talk of the town square during their reign. Now, players on the PSN can go through the first level, and see what it’s like.
Players that have been dumping their coins into the recent Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will recognize the scrolling, beat ’em up action easily enough: pick up a character, go through a level and collect coins and experience along the way. The coins can be used to enter shops to buy upgrades on health, strength and defense while you traverse you kingdom. While the port has taken over two years to finish, it is coming with additional areas, abilities and mini-games that aren’t included in it’s Green-X’ed friend.
