With the new dieting and “eating healthy” craze sweeping the nation, Subway and Sony have teamed up again to bring a unique campaign that will reap “over $1 million in retail value” prizes. The ‘Footlong Frenzy,’ gives consumers the chance to come into participating stores, grab a footlong sub and specially marked 32 oz. drinks, Monterey Jack Sun Chips, and breakfast sandwiches, as of today. It’s estimated that Jared will take away a fifth of the prizes (we kid).
The deal, which was hinted at back with Subways “Play The Move, Eat a Footlong” a month ago, will be giving a prize away “about once every minute.”Among the items up for grabs are PS3 systems, games (including collector’s edition versions of Gran Turismo 5, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Uncharted 2), 3D HDTVs, PSP systems, and an exclusive opportunity to win the PlayStation Move motion controller before it goes on sale.
“As a brand that values active lifestyles, Subway is pleased to join PlayStation in the launch its new active gaming platform and offer our fans this exclusive opportunity,” said Subway spokesperson Tony Pace. There is at least going to be an active amount of work between companies and their coming ad campaigns… amirite?
