Remember back when things like Myspace and Facebook were just used to stalk your neighbors’ pictures… and that was it? Consider it good or bad, the global social network has advanced itself exponentially, and this latest upgrade just proves that. In a deal with Delta Airlines, Facebook and Delta have now teamed up to allow users to attach themselves to Delta’s Facebook page, then set up (or check on) you flight.
Apparently, this is just the beginning for Delta, who is just using Facebook to springboard off into the public’s eye. Prepping to the “book-a-flight” banners and even iPhone apps, Delta is digging in deep to become number one in unified flight control. After this, McDonnalds and Burger King are getting set up, so that you can order before you leave to head to the drive-in. Thankfully, this will take both waiting and drive-up shootings down to a minimum. However, obesity will still be at an all-time high.
