DROID 2 Is Official, Pre-Orders Starts Tomorrow

Verizon Wireless has finally made DROID 2 Official. Online Pre-orders will start tomorrow, August 11, and the phones will hit shelves this Thursday as predicted. There aren’t many surprises with this release as far as specs go. However, ZKG is still going to summarize it all up for you lucky readers:

Verizon Wireless also announced that a limited edition DROID 2 named R2-D2 DROID 2 in honor of “the iconic Astromech Droid from the Star Wars(TM) Saga”, will be available online only in September. As an added bonus purchasers of this edition will have “exclusive Star Wars content and external hardware designed to look like the trusty Droid from the film saga.”
