Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, or better known as Kaka, has been named as one of 17 official stars of the upcoming FIFA 11. The Real Madrid Midfielder, who has been playing professionally since the age of 15 and has accumulated over 130 career goals in his 13 years, has a lifetime of achievements already: yet considers this one the biggest. “Being on the FIFA Soccer 11 cover is a great honor for me since very few players have this opportunity, and there have been some great players featured on the cover of this truly amazing videogame.”

Matt Bilby, the VP of Soccer over at EA Sports spoke a little about why Kaka was chosen: primarily his ingenunity and ability to stay one step ahead of the other players. “With Kaka’s visionary style of soccer he’s always one step ahead of the opposition, moving into space with an often subtle change of pace and delivering crisp, creative one-touch passes and catching the goalkeepers off guard with strikes often from distance on either foot.” You’ll be able to see more of Kaka and the rest of the lineup this September when the game hits shelves on the 14th.
