Remember back when Tekken 6 came out, and Namco swore that it would be the final Tekken game they would produce? Conversely, remember how Super Street Fighter IV just hit shelves barely a month and a half ago, giving players 36 different characters to choose from, boosting the fighting mechanics all around? Well, Capcom has announced today that the houses have teamed up, to produced Street Fighter X Tekken. Obviously, they weren’t done.
Taking the art style and graphic capabilities that’s become the staple of the latest Street Fighter’s and the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3, it’ll bring the Tekken franchise into a whole new perspective.Unfortunately, nothing official has been confirmed on playable characters, online playablilty, or a release date… so, anything other than it exists and this fancy teaser trailer. Rest assured that it does exists, we will just have to wait for our shoryuken’s and our… well, we’ll see what they bring.
