London-based video game developer and publisher Immersive Games has announced a new series of games for PSN at the Develop show in Brighton, the Fort Commander franchise. These titles will be released for download next month.

Fort Commander: BattleQuest will be available on PSN while the two other titles – King’s Gambit and Counterattack – will be PSP minis, also playable on PS3. Fort Commander: King’s Gambit will have three modes of play; Campaign, Assault and Survival. There are two unique enemy types to play against, each with five different levels.

Rich Hancock, producer at Hog’s Back studios explains, “Fort Commander’s gameplay is a twist on the tower defence genre of strategy games. The games are set against a backdrop of battles between medieval empires.”

I live in the UK, I am 23 years old and have been a gamer all my life. I studied psychology, sociology, english literature and IT in college and went on to study psychology and IT in university. Aside from gaming my greatest passions are rock music, reading and writing. In my spare time I am a novelist, I write a mixture of science fiction and fantasy, and I also keep an autobiographical account of my life although at present I am unpublished.
