For those wondering if it was worth purchasing PlayStation Plus, feeling as if there wasn’t enough to wet your whistle, then an exclusive demo of Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days could sway your mind. Giving PlayStation Plus member exclusive access to a week-long demo, starting Tuesday July 20th, players will play as Lynch while he tries to outrun the underworld on the rooftops and back alleyways of Shanghai. You’ll also have the option of playing Fragile Alliance, the multiplayer game where you’re primary objective is to cheat, lie, steal, and backstab your way to the loot within four minutes.
To make this whole system easy on yourself, PlayStation Plus is reminding you that you can simply activate automatic downloads so that the game will download for you the night of the 20th.To do this, simply head into your “Settings -> System Setting” of your XMB. from there you can just choose a timeframe and let it go. What this will do is your PlayStation has become so brilliant that it will now turn itself on during it’s designated time, look for anything that it is required to download “be it free demos such as “Kane and Lynch” or a system update, download it, and then shut itself back off until the next timeframe. Of course if you want to be old fashioned and watch things download you can always pick-and-choose manually as well.
This will save you time and energy, so that now when you come back and turn on your machine, all you have to do is install the game, and play through. Understand that the demo is only going to last for the week of the 20th-27th, and it is ONLY for PlayStation Plus members. So if you’re really itching for some Lynch-action, then head over and get yourself a Plus membership, and bide your time till Tuesday.
