Ubisoft has announced new product details for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, the next iteration of the critically acclaimed, multi-million selling Assassin’s Creed series. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is due for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC in late 2010. Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is a worldwide production led by the Ubisoft Montreal Studio in collaboration with Ubisoft studios in Singapore, Bucharest, Québec City and Annecy, best known for developing the multiplayer in Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

The new game sees multiplayer being introduced to the series for the first time

The critically acclaimed single player experience of Assassin’s Creed is back and the players continues as Ezio who is in the midst of a powerful struggle against the powerful Templar Order. Now a legendary Master Assassin, he must journey to Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy. Defeating the corrupt tyrants will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood that will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.

For the first time ever in the Assassin’s Creed series, there will be multiplayer included in the game. The multiplayer game mode will see players helping the Templars by using Abstergo to train in the art of Assassination in order to eliminate the Assassins once and for all. Players can choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match their skills against other players from all over the world in a variety of different game modes.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
