Capcom has announced that Olivia Munn will be hosting the Lost Planet 2 “Kill Big for Charity” launch event and celebrity tournament in Los Angeles on May 6. The celebrity and community tournament is the culmination of Capcom’s month long ‘Kill Big For Charity’ which saw the community download the demo of Lost Planet 2 while supporting a more than worthy cause in the form of Music For Relief.

The demo needed to be downloaded 1.5 million times for the $25,000 to be given to Music For Relief

Capcom had promised to donate $25,000 to Music For Relief if the demo managed to reach the download mark of 1.5 million downloads which is no easy feat. The tournament on May 6th, comprised of celebrities, press, community and die-hard Lost Planet 2 fans will compete in a variety of Lost Planet 2 multiplayer modes. The victorious team will then get the honor of choosing the charity to receive the $25,000 from a list of Music for Relief partnerships.

Community members can compete for a seat in the celebrity tournament and a trip to Los Angeles to attend the launch party by submitting their best tips and tricks for beating the new Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo by this Thursday to Capcom Unity at http://www.capcom-unity.com/snow_infernus/blog/2010/04/01/lost_planet_2_-_kill_big_for_charity

Four lucky community members and Lost Planet 2 fans will be awarded spots in the celebrity tournament so good luck!

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
