Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is full of many different bonuses for gamers who purchase this edition of the best selling Resident Evil game ever, which has sold over 5 million copies worldwide since its launch in March 2009. The first new addition to Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is the inclusion of some new DLC in the form of ‘Lost In Nightmares’.
The plot of Lost In Nightmares sees you playing as Chris Redfield/Jill Valentine in the lead up to a fight with Albert Wesker that results with both him and Jill Valentine falling out of the window. It’s all in a cut scene in the main game of Resident Evil 5 and you play the events leading up to that pivotal moment.
The addition of two new characters to the mercenaries mode on Resident Evil 5 is one of the more interesting things about Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition as it allows you to try and reach that all important high score with Alpha Team’s weapon specialist Barry Burton and the sole surviving member of Bravo Team, rookie Rebecca Chambers, both of whom were in the original Resident Evil.
Both of these classic S.T.A.R.S. members come equipped with their own customized weapon load-outs and when coupled with the bonus story mode, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition definitely seems to be worth the money and I’m sure anybody who picks up this gaming deal will not be disappointed.
