Today has been quite a day with lots of sites buzzing that a real Heavy Rain demo has been seen in the wild and its not that hard to get it. If you are reading this, then that means you haven’t read those other sites and you are hearing it here first. So apparently to build buzz around the game, Sony set up a web site which allows players to put together clues and if put together in the correct order the prize is a fully functioning Heavy Rain demo code.
There is always lots of buzz about stuff like this but before we tell it to you we had to make sure it was authentic, so we headed on over the Precinct 52 (the site Sony set up), to have a look around. If you don’t have an account, just click the register button and set up an account. Once that’s all good you have all these clues on a board and you have to bring them all together, I gotta tell you though its not intuitive and you are much better off checking around for the right answers because otherwise you might be a while. In fact, here are the right answers as provided by Kotaku and verified by us and others, look away if you don’t want the easy route:
The four pieces of evidence are:
• Short cigarette (117b)
• Origami bird
• Coffee shop C (it says “diner”)
• 117h (tyre tracks)
Once you put the clues together in the right order, you will be rewarded with your very own Heavy Rain Demo code to do with what you will. The site to go to is Precinct 52 to make it happen. But before you run off to grab your free code, be aware that the servers have been overwhelmed all day and are moving really slow if you can connect at all, so if the site won’t load at first or it takes forever just keep trying, this one has been ZKG verified. So keep at it and you will be fine, I just hope you brought an umbrella cause there is a real good chance of… Heavy Rain.
